Only our best carriers achieve Diamond Status. We carefully monitor and select them for performance.
To achieve "diamond" status, the potential carrier must:
- Have a history of dependable service (Above average on-time service performance over previous 10 months).
- Have 24-hour contact number
- Have reliable tracking capabilities (satellite, pager, cellular phones)
- Provide proof of current (carrier) insurance containing:
- - $2,000,000 general liability
- - $100,000 (minimum) cargo liability
- Have a license to transport hazardous materials ( where required)
- Provide on-going training programs for their drivers
- Satisfactory DOT and CVOR rating
- Have operating authority for all provinces and states serviced
- Agree to the terms on our carrier service letter and return with a signature
- Allow a member of DSN team to visit their location for a site inspection
- Notify their insurance company to list DSN as certificate holder
